When your dog has allergies on meat, you should substitute it with other protein-filled alternatives such as salmon, duck, or venison among others. Potatoes are also good as an alternative for starch. But you should do adding in the ingredients in your dog’s former diet to his new food one step at a time. That way, you will prevent food allergies on dogs to happen.

It might take a time for some dogs to actually get used to to the new diet plan that is cut out for them, but you should also be patient. Food allergies on dogs should be prevented in order for him to have a better life.
